Millions of markers are purchased and used everyday in Canada and the United States and Crayola does not want them in the landfills.
ColorCycle is a program designed by Crayola for schools in the US and Canada. The school community collects dried up markers. When a box reaches 10 lb Crayola will send a shipping label to be printed out and glued on the box. Postage is PAID by Crayola.
A cost-free community spirit event tackling an environmental concern.
If you are a school collecting for the ColorCycle program, don’t forget to let daycares, after school programs, service groups and other non-profits in your area to help!
Our Social Market is currently seeking a school engaged in the ColorCycle program in the Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia area. We’d love to collect markers at the monthly Social Markets.
